Good News

Derek (Copykat) is recovering. Yay. I hope they catch the jerks that did it. More here.

Thursday

Dr. Spencer Balmer

I had a chance to speak to Dr. Balmer before he got his new job. I had really hoped I had gotten through to him, and that he'd be coming back to Project Genesis and Utopia, but I guess he found someplace better for him. Good luck on that, I guess, but it makes me sad to see more people abandoning ship, rather than trying to fix problems.

PS Gabe, Vi -- Good to see you guys again. Keep in touch.

Wednesday

What a day...

So um...I don't know who out there knows what happenned yesterday and who doesn't but wow. I almost had my first mission by accident! But I'm not officially working yet, so when I reported it I was pulled off for the big guns. Sorry to Ben, Violet and Carlos. I hope everything worked out for you like it did for everyone else. Hopefully I can come see St. Francis again sometime soon.

Sunday

Nifty

So here's the scoop for all those who've been asking. I'll avoid the technical terms and just tell you what it boils down to. I can control ice, wind and cold. All sorts of ways. I can freeze people in place, make it snow, become the wind and run around really fast or even fly (a little akwardly right now). I've got some really cool eyesight, that helps me find people and see heat (or the absence of). It's been so great working with all the people here, I can't say it enough.

Wednesday

Training

All the helpful people here have been great. There's trainers and doctors and scientists and other novas all who are so helpful, and the equipment is like something from a sience fiction novel. It's harder than any training or schooling I've done so far, but I'm really determined to get my powers under control. They're also looking to sign me up with Hestia, which will be a great way to help people.

Monday

New beginnings

I'm starting this new blog for a new chapter in my life. So first, the big news... I'm a nova! I can't believe it. I erupted earlier today and a couple of great people from Project Hestia and their friends helped me. No one was hurt, but I guess I froze a bunch of people and made it snow in D.C. Yeah that was me! :) The headache thing is totally true. Holy cow it hurt.

I had to go through all sorts of tests with a bunch of paraphysicians. I start training to control my powers tomorrow. I'm really excited. So far I know I can make ice, and I can fly!

Oh and I have some cool vision thing going on, I think its infrared.

On a serious note, I hope I can stay grounded and help a lot of people with my powers.
